Ledo is exceptionally proud of its long tradition of implementing and certifying management systems, which are continually confirmed through excellent results in external audits from year to year.
In 1999, Ledo received the first certificate for the international standard ISO 9001 for quality management, and that certificate has been renewed every year since. That same year, Ledo d.d. implemented the HACCP and SSOP systems for food safety, approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development.
In 2009, the HACCP system was certified according to the Codex Alimentarius, and at the same time, supervision was carried out and the environmental management system was certified according to the ISO 14001:2004 international standards. At the end of that same year, Ledo received certification for a part of its product line according to Kosher standards.
In early 2010, the IFS and BRC standards were fully implemented and certified. In early 2017, the energy efficiency management system according to the requirements of standard ISO 50001 was implemented and certified, while in mid 2017, a part of the Ledo product line was certified for the HALAL system. During 2017, the transition to the standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 was carried out. In early 2018, the integrated management system was further advanced with the UTZ certificate.
All of our products, from the raw materials to the finished product, are under the constant and complete supervision of internal laboratory control and quality assurance, state inspection services, external accredited laboratories and certification companies. Ledo fully meets all the legal regulations and high quality standards and food health, documentation of management systems, suitability of transport means, equipment and personnel in the food industry.
