Pastry Dough 500g

Pastry Dough is excellent for the preparation of dishes such as fruit strudels, baklava, burek, spanikopita, or potato or cheese pie. It is intended for all those who love pastry dishes with various, tasty fillings, both sweet and savoury, but who do not have a lot of time to prepare homemade dough.

Dough must first be defrosted at room temperature for 60 minutes, during which time you can prepare the filling from fruit, cheese, meat or vegetables.

Lay out a sheet of pastry on a dampened cloth, sprinkle dough with oil, melted butter or margarine and spread filling evenly. Using the cloth, roll and shape pastry, and place in a greased baking dish.

Baste pastry with oil, melted butter or margarine and bake in oven preheated to 200°C for about 30 minutes.

Sweet pastries can be served with a hot vanilla sauce or with lemon juice and sugar, while savoury pastries can be served with cream or yogurt.
